Cleanings & Exams

Routine cleanings and exams are an essential part of keeping your teeth healthy and happy. This is what we call preventative dental care — doing the regular maintenance work that keeps bigger problems from occurring in the first place. We recommend coming in for a cleaning once every six months, so our friendly team can remove the plaque and tartar that build up on your teeth over time.

Crowns & Bridges

Porcelain crowns are used to help rebuild damaged teeth (or improve their appearance). Several crowns can also be fused together to form a bridge, which can fill in for a missing tooth or teeth.

Tooth Extractions

Sometimes, a tooth just needs to go in order to keep your overall smile and health in check. Our team will make sure that you’re feeling comfortable and then remove the tooth as quickly and gently as we can. This will prevent infection from spreading to nearby teeth or your gums, as well as get you out of discomfort.

Dentures

Dentures can be used to fill in for missing teeth and restore the appearance of your smile. Typically, dentures use suction to attach to your mouth, but can also be combined with dental implants for improved performance.

Sealants

Sealants can be used to protect your teeth from cavities in hard-to-brush areas. Your dentist will apply a thin strip of plastic that covers over part of the tooth to prevent bacteria from damaging the natural tooth enamel or causing an infection.

Nightguards

If you grind your teeth while you sleep, a nightguard can help. We can make a custom-fitted dental night guard that will protect your teeth from further damage caused by grinding and alleviate any resulting symptoms of discomfort.

TMJ Treatment

TMJ is typically caused by strain or misalignment of the jaw and can result in clicking, pain, or difficulty using your mouth. We can help treat your TMJ so that you feel better and are able to use your mouth normally again.

Sleep Apnea Appliances

Sleep apnea is a health condition that results in your airway becoming temporarily blocked while you sleep. We can create a custom-fitted dental appliance, much like a mouthguard, that prevents blockage from occurring and ensures that you’ll get a safe night’s sleep.

Root Canal Therapy

If your tooth is damaged or infected, you may need a root canal to help repair it. We’ll make sure you feel comfortable first, and then gently make a small opening in your enamel so we can clean out the infected pulp inside the tooth. Then we’ll pack the tooth full of filler and seal it back up again with a filling or a crown — and presto! Your tooth will be back to normal!

Fluoride

Fluoride is a mineral you may recognize from many of your oral hygiene products, but did you know it is also found in the water you drink? Fluoride is often added to water supplies because it has been shown to reduce cavities in both children and adults. When fluoride is present in the water, it can help to remineralize tooth enamel, making it stronger and more resistant to cavities. In addition, fluoride can also help to reverse early signs of tooth decay.

Our office offers fluoride treatments to help keep your smile healthy and strong. The treatment contains a high concentration of fluoride and is applied directly to the teeth, which means it can be exceptionally effective at protecting your smile.
